Quick and Healthy Shrimp Kabobs

How about a simple, cheap, delicious and healthy meal. It will run you about $15 and last at least for 2 meals for 2 people! Or maybe 2 dinner and a side for the next dinner! These are our favorite shrimp kabobs that we grill up all year long!

You need:

Olive Oil 

A cooking brush of some kind

Bell Peppers

Pineapple

Red Onion

Shrimp

(And whatever else you want to grill up!)

Skewers

 

This can be made on the grill or in the oven. I prefer grill but when we made this last time our grill ran out of propane so we stuck to the oven. 

Use the cooking brush to put a light coat of olive oil on everything that's being cooked (with the exception of any fruit) before you start cooking it.

Oven:

400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Grill:

10 minutes on each side. 

 

 

Simple easy, inexpensive, full of vitamins, protein and very filling.
